Terms of Service

1. About Uncovero

Uncovero is a community intelligence platform operated by Chaparral Wireless Ltd., a corporation registered in Alberta, Canada ("we", "us", "our"). By using uncovero.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

Uncovero provides community and property intelligence reports compiled from publicly available open data sources, covering Canada, the United Kingdom, and other regions. The service includes:

• Free community overview pages available without an account.
• Full Community Reports available for purchase by registered users.
• Community Comparison reports available for purchase by registered users.
• UK postcode reports and postcode-to-postcode comparison reports, available for purchase by registered users.
• Discounted report packs, for occasional or bulk purchase, with credits that do not expire while your account remains active.
• Monthly subscription plans for property professionals and consultants, described further in Section 6.
• White label partnerships, allowing approved business partners to present reports under their own branding, described further in Section 9.

3. Accounts

A free account is required to purchase reports. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Where an account is used to hold a report pack, subscription, or white label arrangement on behalf of a business, the individual creating the account confirms they have authority to do so on that business's behalf.

4. Purchases and payment

Prices are shown in your local currency where we support it, determined automatically based on your region. If we do not price in your local currency, prices will default to and be charged in US dollars.

In the United Kingdom and the European Union, prices shown include VAT. In Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, prices shown will include the applicable local sales tax once we are required to register for and collect it in that country under local tax thresholds; until that point, no such tax is added. In the United States, applicable sales tax is not currently included but may be added at checkout in future once we are required to collect it in your state. In Canada, prices shown do not include GST, HST, or other applicable taxes, but these will be calculated based on your address and added at checkout. Where tax is included or added, this will always be made clear to you before you complete your purchase.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By completing a purchase you agree to pay the stated price plus any applicable tax.

Upon successful payment, you will receive access to your purchased report via your account. Full Community Reports are available for download indefinitely from your account, though reports may be removed in future, for example if this becomes necessary due to storage constraints. Where we plan to remove reports, we will endeavour to give you good notice beforehand.

5. Cancellations and refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable, including report packs, subscription payments, and white label fees, once access has been granted. If you experience a technical issue that prevents access to a report you have paid for, please contact us at [email protected] and we will work to resolve it.

If you cancel a monthly subscription, your plan will remain active, and continue to be billed, until the end of the period you have already paid for. It will not renew after that point. Any report credits remaining on your account at that time will stay usable for 12 months following the end of your subscription, after which any remaining credits, and access to your account, will be removed.

6. Report packs, subscriptions, and credits

Report packs are purchased once and grant a fixed number of report credits. These credits do not expire and may be used at any time, for as long as your account remains active.

Subscription plans grant a set number of report credits each billing period. Unused subscription credits accumulate and do not expire while your subscription remains active. If your subscription is cancelled, remaining credits stay usable for 12 months following the end of the subscription, as set out in Section 5, after which they will be removed along with account access.

Your subscription's per-report rate is fixed for as long as your subscription remains continuously active, even if our general pricing changes in future. If you cancel your subscription and later take out a new one, the rate for the new subscription will be based on our pricing at the time you re-subscribe, not any previous rate you held.

Reports purchased beyond your subscription's included allowance in a given period ("overage reports") are charged at the rate agreed for your plan at the time your subscription began.

7. Nature of the data

All reports are snapshots of publicly available data sourced from government agencies, statistical bodies, and other open data sources at the time of generation. Reports reflect conditions at the time of production and are not updated after purchase.

Uncovero does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any data presented. Rankings, statistics, and comparisons are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to real estate, legal, financial, or safety advice.

The presence of higher or lower figures relative to city, ward, or postcode medians or rankings does not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, or adverse finding regarding any community.

8. Intellectual property

The Uncovero platform, including its design, software, and compilation of data, is owned by Chaparral Wireless Ltd. Underlying data remains the property of its respective source organisations.

Reports purchased on a standard consumer account are licensed for personal use only and may not be resold, redistributed, published, or amended in any way without our express written permission.

Reports purchased through a consultant, subscription, or white label account may be shared with, or resold to, your own clients as part of your professional services, in line with the terms of your specific account arrangement. They may not be redistributed, published, or resold outside of that purpose, and no part of a report may be amended or altered in any way, without our express written permission.

9. White label partnerships

White label partners may present reports under their own branding, including their own logo, colour scheme, and company name. By providing branding materials to us, you confirm that you own or otherwise have the right to use them, and you do so at your own risk - we do not independently verify this.

Some white label partnerships include a setup fee, which may be waived under certain arrangements, such as prepaying for an annual term. Where a setup fee has been waived on the basis of a minimum commitment period, and you cancel before the end of that period, we reserve the right to charge the waived setup fee.

Specific commercial terms for your white label partnership, including any setup fee, included report allowance, and billing arrangement, are as agreed with you individually. Where anything in your individual arrangement conflicts with these general terms, your individual arrangement takes precedence for your account.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chaparral Wireless Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service or reliance on any data contained in a report. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the report, report pack, or subscription period in question.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email.
